I understand that reaching out for support can feel overwhelming, and I strive to create a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and understood. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives and experiences, and I approach therapy as a collaborative process where I walk alongside individuals as they explore challenges, develop insight and work toward meaningful growth. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and foster meaningful growth through self-reflection, compassion and values-based exploration.
My therapeutic approach is informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance
and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), while incorporating
strengths-based and client-centred approaches. I believe therapy should be flexible and
individualized to each person’s unique experiences, values and goals.
I provide therapy to children, adolescents and adults experiencing a variety of concerns, including anxiety and stress, depression and mood concerns, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem and self-confidence, identity development and exploration, relationship concerns, family-related challenges, grief and loss and life transitions. I strive to meet each client where they are and tailor therapy to their unique experiences.
Outside of my work, I love spending time with my friends, family and my dog, Nanook. I
enjoy visiting new cafes, going to the movies, and catching up on a good book. I value the
little moments of connection and relaxation that help bring balance to my everyday life.
I am an avid movie lover and have kept track of every film I have watched over the past few
years. My favourite film is The Lost Boys, and my Golden Labrador, Nanook, is named after
the dog featured in the film. At home, you will find plenty of LEGO Botanical pieces rather
than live plants, as I enjoy adding a little creativity and greenery to my space in my own way.
I also have a strawberry birthmark on my left arm, which I have always considered my own
natural tattoo.
